Jennifer Kiruba is a Registered Nurse who qualified in 2010, with a diverse clinical background spanning intensive care, respiratory medicine, and care of the elderly. She began her career in the Intensive Care Unit, where she developed strong clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Driven by a passion for education and professional development, Jennifer completed a master’s degree in Community Health Nursing in India, followed by a Master’s in Professional Practice at the ºüÀêÊÓÆµ of South Wales, UK.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked within a respiratory unit, supporting patients with complex respiratory conditions. She later progressed to the role of Ward Sister in a Frailty Unit, where she demonstrated leadership, supported multidisciplinary teams, and contributed to improving patient care for older adults.
Jennifer has a strong interest in education and awareness, and she has led and supported initiatives such as NHS Day, Delirium Awareness Week, Pulmonary Fibrosis Week, and Nurses’ Day, helping to promote best practice and share knowledge among colleagues.
She is now part of the ºüÀêÊÓÆµ of Worcester, where she brings her clinical experience and passion for teaching to support and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
