The ºüÀêÊÓƵ recognises that its continuing success is dependent to a great extent on the individual performance of each member of its staff, and this is often related to the health and general well-being of the individual.

Health and Wellbeing

Good health depends on a combination of both physical and mental well-being and therefore it seeks to maintain a healthy and safe working environment by setting policies and procedures that are designed to support the health and well-being of all its employees. The ºüÀêÊÓƵ is committed to encouraging staff and students to live healthier lifestyles.

The ºüÀêÊÓƵ has signed up to  and has reached level 2 accreditation. We have begun to collect baseline data on student and staff wellbeing.

Health and Wellbeing SMART targets

Our current targets and some examples of how we are going to achieve them can be accessed through the sustainability targets document.

Significant additional resources have been put in place to support staff wellness. For example a new EAP, OH and Counselling provider, Mental Health First Aid training and resources including Five Ways to Wellbeing training.
