Olivia completed a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science and an MSc in Applied Exercise Physiology at the ºüÀêÊÓÆµ of Brighton prior to joining the ºüÀêÊÓÆµ of Worcester. Whilst undertaking her MSc, Olivia was embedded within the Environmental Extremes Laboratory at the ºüÀêÊÓÆµ of Brighton and researched the influence of menstrual cycle phase on heat tolerance for her dissertation, supervised by Dr Neil Maxwell. Olivia joined the ºüÀêÊÓÆµ of Worcester as a research associate in 2024, contributing to a UKRI funded project on improving female health and performance by mitigating heat strain. Olivia began a PhD at the ºüÀêÊÓÆµ of Worcester in January 2025 surrounding acute and chronic thermophysiological responses in females of varying fitness status.
