Sam worked as a Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist for Aneurin Bevan ºüÀêÊÓÆµ Health Board. Her experience extends to the community where she has also worked as a community nurse. Sam is passionate about providing compassionate care to patients and their families during challenging times.
She has a strong commitment to education, having previously taught in further education, and finds great fulfilment in teaching, mentoring and guiding future nurses; assisting them in developing skills and qualities in the field of nursing.
She has previously competed in sports, particularly hockey and athletics, competing at a high level. These experiences have instilled valuable qualities such as discipline, teamwork and resilience which are brought to nursing practice and her passion for education.
